A place for the ideas still taking shape.

The Sketchbook is the tablet-based analog companion to The Studio, designed for the ideas that need to be worked out by hand before they're ready to be presented.

Made for use with a tablet and stylus, it gives you the freedom of pen and paper without the scattered notebooks, loose pages, and inevitable question: Where did I write that?

Following the same project process as The Studio, The Sketchbook gives you a dedicated space to take handwritten notes, sketch concepts, work through details, and capture the thoughts that happen somewhere between the initial idea and the finished direction.

Every project gets its own dedicated Sketchbook, so your rough ideas stay connected to the project they belong to. It's one organized place to think freely, scribble things out, and develop your ideas before refining the work digitally or presenting it to your client.

Use The Sketchbook and The Studio in tandem, moving easily between hands-on thinking and digital production. Embed your Sketchbook link inside Milanote for quick access to your handwritten notes, and add your Milanote workspace to your Sketchbook so the full project is always within reach.

Because the idea doesn't have to be polished when it arrives. It just needs somewhere to live — even the one you scribbled down at midnight.

Designed to work with The Studio

The Sketchbook follows the same project flow as The Studio, giving your hands-on and digital workflows a shared structure.

Think, write, sketch, and explore in The Sketchbook. Then move into The Studio to refine the direction, collaborate with your team or client, and manage the project through completion.

Link the two together for quick access in either direction, keeping your working ideas and production workflow connected without forcing your creative process entirely behind a keyboard.

Platform

Designed for tablet + stylus use as a digital alternative to a traditional paper sketchbook.

Best for

Photographers, filmmakers, creative directors, producers, designers, and other creatives who think best with a pen in hand but want the organization and accessibility of a digital, project-based system.
